The stamp can be found on the left side flap, under the girth straps. The stamp will tell you the model (Legend K2), Adjusta (or not if nothing states ‘adjusta’), the seat size, the (original) width, and the serial number. How will you know if yours has it? Look at the stamp. Where is the serial number on an Albion saddle? Depending on the model’s age, the saddle serial number is either sewn, engraved, or stamped on the plate. The location of the saddle serial number is different on older and newer models. To check Simco Saddle serial number, examine back, skirts, fenders, jockeys, and underneath the flap leather. Sometimes you can find the maker’s mark on a metal tag placed on the saddle. A few makers stamp underneath the flap or on the seat itself.
